The Faculty of Nursing, Beni Suef University, holds its second international conference, "Innovation in Communication and Digital Health Education for the Community."

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, the Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University held its second international conference for the Department of Community Health Nursing, entitled “Innovation in Communication and Digital Health Education for the Community.” The conference was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Mervat Abdel Qader, Conference Chairman. The conference was attended by Dr. Adel Gouda, Dean of the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Khaleq, former Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Maabad, former Dean of the Faculty, faculty members, and a group of specialists.
Dr. Mansour explained that the conference sessions featured the presentation of research papers and topics by participants from local universities such as Beni Suef University, Minya University, Sohag University, Port Said University, and Menoufia University, as well as international universities in Jordan, Iran, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and Qatar. These papers discussed a wide range of topics, including promoting digital health culture and providing community members with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively use digital health tools and information, enhancing the role of the family in spreading health awareness and digital education, the role of technology in health education to combat bullying, mechanisms for bringing about positive changes in community health behaviors and overall well-being, health education in crises and emergencies, and the role of health education in managing epidemics such as COVID-19.
Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawi added that the conference aims to foster collaboration among researchers, healthcare professionals, technology developers, policymakers, and community representatives to share best practices and build partnerships in the field of digital health. It also aims to raise awareness of natural or environmental disasters, highlight the importance of rapid response through media and communication platforms, and empower volunteers to spread health education through civil society organizations and non-profit organizations.
