Students from the National Pharmacy program visited the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants at Beni Suef University.

Under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef National University, the Pharmacy Program organized a scientific visit to the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants at Beni Suef University, with the aim of enhancing the practical aspect of students and linking academic courses to real-life applications. This came under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Academic Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Osama Al-Jundi, Dean of the Health Sector, Dr. Rania Sarhan, Director of the Pharmacy Program, Dr. Adel Gouda, Dean of the Institute, the Institute’s Vice Deans, and the Head of the Pharmaceuticals Department.
Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, emphasized that the University continuously strives to provide an integrated educational environment that combines theoretical and practical aspects, by organizing scientific field visits that enable students to acquire applied skills that contribute to preparing and qualifying them for the labor market. The tour included a visit to a number of specialized laboratories in the institute’s departments, including: the Department of Production and Post-Harvest Treatments, the Department of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Aromatic Preparations, the Department of Biotechnology for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, and the Department of Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Chemistry. The students also visited the institute's greenhouses and learned about a wide variety of plants being grown, giving them the opportunity to put what they had learned in theory into practice.
