An awareness forum on disabilities, in cooperation between the Faculties of Education for Early Childhood and Mass Communication.

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Early Childhood Education organized four awareness workshops on disabilities at the Faculty of Mass Communication, as part of the awareness forum of the two faculties. This was held under the supervision of Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Razek, Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Dr. Abdel Aziz El Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Dr. Hanaa Fouad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Mamdouh Makkawi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication for Education and Student Affairs, with the attendance of Dr. Amani Albert, Head of the Public Relations and Advertising Department, faculty members, and students.
The workshops addressed various types of disabilities, including hearing and visual impairments, autism, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Students were divided into groups, with each group presenting an awareness workshop on each of these types of disabilities, explaining appropriate ways to deal with them, and providing guidance to help communicate with people of determination. Attendees also participated in an interactive activity with the students, playing an educational game with the aim of promoting integration and transferring knowledge in a simplified manner.
Students and attendees expressed their happiness with this experience, which combined awareness, education, and positive interaction, stressing that the day was rich in information and team spirit.
