Beni Suef University participates in the events of the International Nursing Day.

A delegation from the Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, participated in the celebration of International Nursing Day, which falls on May 12th of each year. The event was organized by the Nursing Syndicate at the Republican Guard House, with the participation of a large number of health system icons and health work leaders in Egypt, headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, Sir Magdi Yacoub, the world-renowned heart surgeon, and a number of health sector icons, nursing leaders, and heads of the Student Union of Nursing Faculties at Egyptian universities. The participating delegation consisted of Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawy, Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Hanaa Shaaban, Director of Nursing at University Hospitals, and student Abdul Rahman Sayed, President of the Nursing College Student Union.
Dr. Mansour explained that these activities come within the framework of the Egyptian state's support for the nursing profession, and its efforts to raise its social and professional status, through continuous education, training and professional qualification, as it is the key to raising the quality of health services, which will not be achieved without the presence of a professional and qualified nursing cadre, as it represents the cornerstone of the health system, the arms of mercy and the pillars of care in various health facilities across the republic, appreciating the efforts of the Egyptian nursing teams and their prominent role in the regularity of health work in Egyptian hospitals in its various sectors.
Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, expressed her gratitude to Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, for his continuous support of all nursing entities, and for providing the opportunity for a delegation of representatives of the profession from the University to participate in these scientific events and forums.
