Under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef National University, the Information Systems and Electronic Archives Program at the university organized a scientific visit to the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) in the Smart Village in the governorate. This came under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Rasha Adel, Dean of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Sector, in the presence of Dr. Sherif Mamdouh, Director of the Program, Dr. Manal Gamal, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology, a group of faculty members, the academic supervisor of the National Institute branch, and students.
The University President emphasized the importance of academic visits, which help students connect theoretical knowledge with practical application. These visits are considered one of the most important educational methods because they help students see the concepts they study in their real-life environment. This is achieved by linking the academic curricula students receive with the practical aspect, with the aim of training students practically, qualifying them for the job market, developing their skills, and gaining field experience, with the aim of bridging the gap between theory and application. During the visit, the services provided by the Institute to students were reviewed, including scholarships and courses that enable them to acquire various information at the academic level.
