The Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, honored Dr. Tarek Dr. Tarek Ali, Professor of Laser Physics at the Laser Research and Applications Institute and Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Magdy Abdel Rahim, Professor of Genetics and Molecular Biology, Dr. Hanaa Mahmoud Mohamed, Professor of Genetics and Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Science, Dr. Sally Mustafa Ibrahim, Assistant Professor of Genetics and Molecular Biology, faculty members at the Faculty of Science, Ms. Aya Eid Mohamed, Assistant Lecturer at the Laser Applications Institute, and Ms. Jihad Mohamed Sayed, Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Science, for their scientific excellence and publication of distinguished scientific research On "The Therapeutic Effects of Femtosecond Laser on Rheumatoid Arthritis in Mice: Reducing Oxidative Stress and Inflammation," the conference was attended by Dr. Tariq Ali, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, deans of colleges, and council members
The university president expressed his happiness with the excellence achieved by the research team, wishing them further success, especially since this is the first study of its kind to explore the effectiveness of femtosecond laser in treating rheumatoid arthritis, opening new horizons for its use as an innovative and safer treatment option. He emphasized that such scientific research and studies contribute effectively to raising the university's ranking in various international scientific rankings, placing the university at the forefront of universities inside and outside Egypt, in addition to its essential role in serving science and humanity
