Beni Suef University Council honors the Faculty of Agriculture student who won first place in the Fawjet Research Competition.

The Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, honored student Duaa Ismail A fourth-year student at the Faculty of Agriculture won first place in the Fawjet competition for the research track at the level of Egyptian universities, with a scientific research on “Green Hydrogen Production from Algae as an Environmentally Safe Biofuel” after competing with 109 scientific teams from various Egyptian public and private universities. This came during its 244th session, in the presence of Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs facultys’ deans and council members
The university president congratulated student Duaa Ismail, wishing her success and excellence, and wishing her continued excellence in her postgraduate studies after graduation. He emphasized that the university is adopting a strategic plan to become a research university to encourage student researchers and provide them with all forms of support to produce more unique research that will serve science and humanity
The University President emphasized that this achievement is not the culmination of a distinguished individual effort, but rather a true reflection of the spirit of scientific research that the University administration is keen to instill, as it is the path to building a brighter and more innovative future. He extended his thanks to the Faculty of Agriculture staff, under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Latif Hisham, Dean of the Faculty, and wished them further success and the completion of more distinguished scientific research in the service of science and scientific research
