Beni Suef University students visit Silo Foods Industrial Company in Sadat City

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Military Education Department organized a field visit for  University students from various faculties to Silo Foods, the largest food industry city in the Middle East  which located in Sadat City, covering an area of ??135 acres. The facility includes several factories for the production of baked goods, pasta, and biscuits, a flour mill, and can production. The visit was supervised by Colonel Khaled Nabil, Director of the Military Education Department, and coordinated by Lieutenant Colonel Taha Salah Matar, Deputy Director of the Military Education Department Such visits aim to introduce students to major national monuments and instill in them a sense of belonging, loyalty, and pride in national projects that will enhance Egyptian industry and the economy. The visit began with a lecture, followed by an introductory video about Silofoods. The students then visited the biscuit and pasta factory and the Roto factory, conducting an inspection tour of the factory's surroundings in the industrial city. The factory's annual production capacity is 100,000 tons for the white cheese line, 10,000 tons for the sterilized milk line, and 600 tons for the margarine line In addition to producing powerful lines for manufacturing biscuits with a total of 5 production lines with a production capacity of 68,000 tons/year, a pasta production plant with a total of 5 production lines with a production capacity of 151,380 tons/year, and a bakery production plant with a total of 5 production lines with a production capacity of 9,000 tons/year, in addition to a flour mill in addition to 14 silos with a storage capacity of 70,000 tons of wheat
It operates with a production capacity of 800 tons of flour per day, and is equipped with a pipeline to transport flour to each of the (biscuit - pasta - baked goods) factories, in addition to establishing a duplex factory for the production of boxes, a cardboard factory, and a truck parking lot that can accommodate 52 trucks, with a group of workshops attached to it for maintenance and repairs for trucks, and the city’s service facilities include (an industrial wastewater treatment plant - a central heating plant - a water purification plant - a central air conditioning plant with a capacity of 8,000 tons of cooling)
