Honoring exemplary mothers and visiting a nursing home are the most prominent social service activities at Beni Suef Uni

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Social Work, under the supervision of Dr. Hendawy Abdel-Lahi, Dean of the Faculty, organized a celebration on the occasion of Mother's Day. The celebration was held in a spirit of love, respect, and camaraderie, and was coordinated by the Youth Welfare Department, Students for Egypt, and the Student Union. The audience's speeches during the ceremony emphasized the value of the mother and her contributions to the life of the family and society, and what she means as a mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, wife, aunt, and maternal aunt; she is everything. All religions have honored the mother and emphasized respecting and honoring her. The ceremony included artistic performances that reflected the value of the mother in society, and a sign language performance of the song "My Mother, the Mother of All."
At the end of the ceremony, exemplary mothers from among the faculty, administrative staff, and support staff were honored. In a related context, as part of Mother's Day celebrations, the college organized a visit to Dar Al Khair Wal Barakah, a nursing home for the elderly, to offer congratulations to elderly mothers and fathers. A family dialogue was also initiated between students and the home's patrons, providing them with moral, psychological, and social support
