Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Technology and Education organized a seminar titled "Ramadan: The Month of Victories," in collaboration with the Faculty of Politics and Economics. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Mervat Rifaat, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education, Dr. Nagah Al-Rayes, Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Economics, Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed Mohamed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mohamed Ali Abu Aqreb, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Economics for Community Service and Environmental Development. The seminar was delivered by Sheikh Eid Shehata, an imam, preacher, and instructor at the Beni Suef Directorate of Endowments, in the presence of faculty members and students.
The seminar explored the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan, a time of great significance in Islamic history, not only in terms of worship and devotion but also as a period marked by historic victories. Ramadan has witnessed several pivotal moments, such as the Battle of Badr and the Conquest of Mecca. In modern history, the 10th of Ramadan is also associated with the remarkable military victory in the October 1973 War. During this blessed month, the Egyptian Armed Forces achieved a decisive triumph over the Israeli occupation forces, restoring confidence to the Arab nation and proving that faith and determination can overcome even the greatest challenges.
