Beni Suef University Celebrates World Social Work Day

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Social Work organized an event to celebrate World Social Work Day under the theme "Strengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Sustainable Well-being." The event was supervised by Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hendawy Abdel-Lahy, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Fadl Ahmed Hamed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Dr. Mohamed Saad El-Sherbiny, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The celebration was attended by faculty members and students.
This year, World Social Work Day aims to promote solidarity, care, and the development of cohesive and sustainable communities while emphasizing the importance of social care within society. It also highlights the crucial role of social workers in various institutions. The event reinforces the idea that we are all interconnected and that our collective future depends on the active participation of every individual in building a socially just world.
