Beni-Suef University Ranks 8th Nationally in the Nature Index for Scientific Research

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni-Suef University, announced that the university has secured the 8th position nationally, according to the latest results of the Nature Index for scientific research. Additionally, the university ranked 7th in Environmental and Earth Sciences and 4th in Health Sciences.
Dr. Hassan explained that the Nature Index is an open database that tracks author affiliations and institutional relationships. The index monitors contributions to international research published in high-quality journals in natural sciences and health sciences across five broad fields: biological sciences, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, health sciences, and physical sciences. These journals are selected based on their reputation by an independent panel of researchers.
Dr. Sama Al-Daq, Director of the International Ranking and Sustainable Development Office, highlighted that the university's international research collaboration rate reached 78.6%, while local research collaboration stood at 21.4%. She noted that the university’s ranking was achieved through the publication of four research papers, with a 0.84 author contribution rate from the university.
