Students for Egypt at the Faculty of Social Service launch the No to Addiction and Drugs initiative

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Students Union for Egypt at the Faculty of Social Development Service launched the No to Addiction and Drugs initiative, as part of raising students’ awareness to quit smoking and invest in the holy month of Ramadan. This was under the supervision of Dr. Hindawi Abdel-Lahi, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Fadl Muhammad, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Abdul-Rahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Muhammad Saad Al-Sharbiny, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Environmental Affairs and Community Development
The university president explained that the initiative included raising awareness among students in different groups about the dangers of addiction and drugs and emphasizing the importance of investing in the holy month of Ramadan to quit smoking, stressing that the university as an institution continues its awareness-raising role, as it implemented a series of seminars and campaigns to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and addiction and their negative impact on their users, pointing out the need to prepare human cadres of young people to raise awareness and participate in national campaigns to reduce drug use.
