The College of Special Needs Science organizes an awareness celebration for the International Stuttering Day

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Special Needs Science organized an awareness celebration for the International Stuttering Day, under the supervision of Dr. Walid Farouk, Dean of the Faculty. The event included a song in sign language and a play about stuttering by the faculty students, and honoring the participants. This was in the presence of the faculty's vice deans and faculty members, amidst a remarkable attendance of students.
The university president stressed the importance of the event's role in spreading the culture of stuttering disorders "speech or fluency" and ways to deal with them and the importance of these people's immersion in various social interactions, noting that the celebration sheds light on the nature of stuttering, its types, causes and methods of therapeutic intervention, noting that the event was held within the framework of reminding of the challenges facing these individuals and the societal responsibility to enhance understanding with them, in addition to spreading awareness of the causes and methods of treating those afflicted with this condition.
