Beni Suef University ranks 111th globally and 5th locally in the British Interdisciplinary Sciences Ranking

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university ranked 111th globally and 5th among Egyptian universities, as 749 universities from 92 countries worldwide were classified, according to the British THE classification of interdisciplinary sciences, first edition 2025.
The university president explained that this classification measures the contribution of universities to interdisciplinary sciences and includes 11 performance indicators in three main areas: inputs, processes, and outputs, and several sub-criteria, including research reputation, quality of interdisciplinary research, and the percentage of interdisciplinary research, in addition to the total number of published research, laboratory infrastructure, administrative cadres, the percentage of promotions in interdisciplinary research, and the percentage of projects funded for industry and to serve interdisciplinary research.
Prof. Dr. Sama El-Daq, Director of the International Classification and Sustainable Development Office, pointed out that the university’s high ranking is due to the efforts made to improve the quality of internationally published interdisciplinary scientific research, which led to remarkable results in this ranking, in addition to the efforts of the university’s researchers in interdisciplinary research and interdisciplinary colleges, and the encouragement of His Excellency President of Beni Suef University, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, for research.
