President of Beni Suef University receives the head of the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received today, Mr. Essam Sheha, Head of the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights This is within the framework of cooperation between the organization, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Civil Society Support Fund, and the Faculty of Early Childhood Education to hold a training course at the faculty entitled "Spreading the Culture of Human Rights among University Students", in the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Razek, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Hanaa Abdel Rahman, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service Affairs. The university president explained that the training course is held over two days and aims to raise awareness among young people about the culture of human rights Providing them with a set of knowledge, ideas and visions to be transferred to others, stressing the importance of spreading this knowledge in enhancing the awareness of Egyptian society, especially since universities contribute significantly to this cultural trend, in addition to increasing societal awareness and enhancing the capabilities of individuals and institutions to respect these rights For his part, Mr/ Essam Sheha pointed out that the organization has prepared a training program that addresses six main topics covering human rights issues, the challenges facing them in Egypt, and the role of the National Human Rights Strategy in supporting these rights, adding that the course comes in implementation of the fourth axis of the National Human Rights Strategy, which focuses on "building capacities and promoting a culture of human rights."
Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Razek stressed the importance of enhancing the college students’ awareness of human rights and the need for them to understand the importance of respecting the rights of others. He urged the participants to make the most of the course so that they become armed with the knowledge and determination to spread this culture in their surroundings
