Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef National University, students of the Clinical Psychology Program participated At the Cognitive Screening and Cognitive Interventions Conference  which held at the American University in Cairo, under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Academic Vice President, Dr. Rasha Adel, Dean of the Arts and Humanities Sector, and Dr. Qayati Ashour, Program Director. Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed the university's keenness on the importance of the participation of university students in such conferences, noting that it is an important opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with international experts in the field of clinical psychology This contributes to improve the quality of education and scientific research at the university, enhances students’ scientific capabilities and develops their research skills. It also reflects the university’s keenness to provide students with the latest information in the field of clinical psychology, noting that the clinical psychology program prepares students who are scientifically and practically qualified to be able to deal with various psychological and social problems facing society
For his part, Dr. Qayati Ashour explained that the conference was distinguished by the participation of an elite group of experts in the field of clinical psychology from inside and outside Egypt, where distinguished research papers were presented on the latest developments in the field of cognitive examination and cognitive interventions, and supporting evidence-based methods for cognition, which included various topics, including the development of neuropsychological tests in Egypt, examination of dyslexia in Arabic and intervention to treat it, and cognitive assessment among culturally, linguistically and educationally diverse older adults
