29 faculty members from Beni Suef University among the top 2% of scientists in the world on the Stanford list

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the list launched by Stanford University for the top 2% of scientists worldwide this year included 29 scientists out of a total of 2231 faculty members working at the university, including 4 scientists from the 2% most influential in their research on their overall scientific production and sustainability of international publication.
This number of faculty members represents 1.29%, which highlights the university's distinction with its scientists in various disciplines. The list included 11 scientists from the Faculty of Science, 9 from the Faculty of Pharmacy, 5 from the Graduate School of Advanced Science , 2 from the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, 1 from the Faculty of Engineering, and 1 from the Faculty of Earth Science.
For his part, the university president congratulated the university's scientists included in the Stanford University list on this honorable scientific achievement, which reflects the university's distinguished scientific cadres in various disciplines capable of raising the status and name of the university at all local, regional and international levels, stressing the university's keenness on the continuous support for researchers and providing an appropriate research environment for them; to improve their research outputs, and increase scientific publication; for their research in prestigious scientific journals, and listed in global databases. Dr. Sama Al-Daq, Director of the International Classification and Sustainable Development Office at the University, indicated that this classification comes based on SCOPUS databases and their analysis using unified and standard algorithms and measurements to reach accurate and reliable results, in addition to citations for research papers in different authorship positions.
