President of Beni Suef University issues a decision appointing Dr. Essam Abdel Rahman Mohamed as Director of the Central Unit for Research Laboratories

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, issued Decision No. (2053) appointing Dr. Essam Abdel Rahman Mohamed as Director of the Central Unit for Research Laboratories, thanking Dr. Fathy Mohamed, the former Director of the Unit, for the great efforts he made during his presidency of the Unit.

It is worth noting that Dr. Essam obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the Faculty of Science, Cairo University, Beni Suef Branch, then a PhD in Water and Environmental Geology, University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. He also worked as the University Coordinator for the Egyptian Universities Development Project, Director of the Information Technology Training Project, and former University Coordinator for the Assistant Minister of Water Resources, in addition to Director of the Microanalysis Center at the Faculty of Science and a consultant for many geological and environmental consulting companies. He has many published scientific papers in the field of water and environmental geology, and supervised many master's and doctoral theses, in addition to holding the position of Vice Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Earth Science.
