Beni Suef University launches a comprehensive awareness convoy to Sherif Pasha village

Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, launched a comprehensive awareness development convoy to Sherif Pasha village as part of Bedaya initiative to build a human Being, under the supervision of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, with the participation of the faculties of (Medicine, Dental Medicine , Pharmacy, Physical Therapy , Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Arts, Social Work, and Mass Communication), with religious awareness participation from the Beni Suef Preaching District and with the participation of students for Egypt.
The university president confirmed that this convoy is the first in a series of convoys that will be organized over a hundred days within Bedaya initiative to build a human Being, where medical examinations were conducted on 1042 cases in the specialties of pediatrics, orthopedics, internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, gynecology, general surgery, and ear, nose and throat, and medications were dispensed free of charge.
The university president added that a number of awareness, educational and religious seminars were held on various topics, including mental health, psychological stress, healthy nutrition, population growth, natural birth, breastfeeding, and preserving the environment from electronic waste, as well as raising awareness of the population issue, positive awareness in behavior and partnership in initiatives for a better life.
Also, organizing a discussion session with farmers in the village to emphasize some concepts related to climate change and raise awareness of how to mitigate its various effects and introduce agricultural practices related to methods of adaptation and acclimatization to climate change to reduce its impact on agricultural crop production, and informing them of diseases that may affect some field crops and emphasizing how to combat them and avoid their occurrence.
