Abstract Assessment of Nursing Managers Knowledge about Magnet Leader Mansour Mohamed abdo El Kharashy 1, Prof. Eman Salman Taie 2, Assis. Abstract Background: Magnet Leadership is a new approach that helps in improve patient care, decrease staff turnover and increase patient and staff satisfaction. Aim: To assess nurse managers' knowledge about magnet leader. Design: Descriptive design was used in this study. Sample: The study subjects included (56) nurse manager both male and female. Setting: Data was collected from all units at El-Nozha and As-Salam international hospital. Tools: One tool was used for data collection: Assessment Nurse Managers Knowledge about Magnet Leader questionnaire. Results: more than two thirds (77.2%) of the study sample regarding to their knowledge were satisfactory at El-Nozha international hospital and only (35.2%) at As-Salam international hospital. Conclusion: The study concluded that, the majority of study sample had unsatisfactory knowledge about characteristics, importance and role of magnet leader.
