Ergonomics in School Libraries in Beni- Suef Governorate: an Evaluative Study The study aimed to identify the science of ergonomics, its origins and components, the scientists who developed it in Egypt, the importance of school libraries and their stages of development, identifying the rules for designing physical and physical work environments in school libraries, and monitoring the reality of school libraries in Beni Suef Governorate, to identify the positives And the negatives that exist in the design of school libraries in Beni Suef governorate from the point of view of specialists and students, and the attempt to develop solutions to design problems that exist in school libraries in Beni Suef governorate; To avoid occupational diseases, and to limit and monitor ergonomics courses in Egyptian universities, to know the extent to which the library and information specialization benefits from these courses, and to identify the extent to which students in Egyptian universities are satisfied with their studies of ergonomics courses by applying to the Faculty of Applied Arts at Beni Suef University, and to develop a proposed vision For the ergonomics course in the field of libraries and informatioof Interior Design and Furniture, and students of the fourth year, Department of Industrial Design, Faculty of Applied Arts, Beni Suef University. The study concluded that there is a satisfaction on the part of the specialists in the school libraries in Beni- Suef Governorate with the lighting, work desks and ventilation, and the specialists suffer from the presence of noise in the school libraries, and the researcher found that there is a shortcoming in the design of the seats designed for the specialists in the school libraries. A large percentage of the specialists suffer from the state of the electronic computers in the school libraries. And the extent of their need for continuous maintenance and the absence of an Internet network in a large sample of school libraries. As for the results for students in school libraries, students feel satisfied with the design of seats and tables in school libraries and lighting, and students are satisfied with the information specialist in school libraries and the extent of their role in The most complete in guiding students to sources of information and teaching them how to search for them. Students in school libraries in Beni Suef governorate suffer from a clear lack of electronic computers and the Internet. Students also suffer from noise and high temperatures in school libraries in Beni Suef governorate. For students of the College of Applied Arts, the study concluded that there is a compatibility between the two departments of industrial design The interior design and furniture for their study of the ergonomics course and its importance for them, the lectures, and the faculty members, and there is agreement between the students of the two departments in the presence of a clear lack of equipment that must be provided in them. Egyptian. The study recommended the necessity of paying attention to school libraries, addressing their shortcomings, providing them with financial resources and constantly renewing them.
