Master Abstract

Summary Chemotherapy is now one of the most important treatments for children with cancer. But it has many side effects and serious complication can affect children in their physical and psychological growth. So, the degree of its successive depending on its accurate administration and appropriate nursing management for its side effects and complication. The nurse who care children with cancer undergoing chemotherapy should be trained , educate and cover all aspects of chemotherapy administration and care of children receiving chemotherapy and basic principles of nursing care as well as, cover all special procedures, out comes and ethical issues . Aim of the study To evaluate nursing care given for children with cancer undergoing chemotherapy through assess nurse's knowledge and practice regarding chemotherapy.
