Electronic Signature in Documenting the Ongoing Electronic Transactions Services: A Study of a Sample of Egyptian Institutions

Master Abstract

Abstract This study aims at studying a new form of signature produced by the information technology; the electronic signatures used in running current (civil, administrative, commercial) electronic transactions, through defining their characteristics, the ways of their creation. It also deals with describing their relationship with the Egyptian law, their validity, and their authenticity. This is to show the diplomatic aspects of the contracts of providing the e-signature services, in addition to the ways of their processing, keeping, protecting by electronic archival systems, and the directions of the International Council for Archiving, to keep them by systems of electronic documents management. The study also deals with the technology of digital documentation seal, working side by side with digital signature which is one of the forms of electronic signatures, with a study of the characteristics of the new smart Egyptian International Number IDs, provided with e-signature services.
