analysis of some pharmaceutical compounds containing carbonyl group

Master Abstract

This thesis was concerned with analytical study of some pharmaceutical drugs containing carbonyl group as; Olmesartan medoxomil (OLM), Hydrochlorothiazide (HCZ), Fosinopril sodium (FOS), antihypertensive agents, and Bromhexine hydrochloride (BHX), which is used as a mucolytic drug. The aim of this work was to develop simple, sensitive, accurate, and specific methods for determination of the cited drugs either in bulk powder or in pharmaceutical formulations. Different analytical methods were applied in this thesis including; Spectrophotometry, chemometric assisted spectrophotometric, TLC-densitometric, and high performance liquid chromatographic methods.
