President of Beni Suef University: Higher approval of the universities to change the name of the Faculty of Computers and Information to the Faculty of Computing and Artificial Intelligence

In his meeting held on April 23, 2019, Prof. Mansoor Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, presided over to the University Council No. 171 on 22 May, in the presence of the Vice-Presidents, Deans of the Colleges and members of the Council. , Headed by Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to change the name of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Beni Suef University, to become the College of "computers and artificial intelligence" and the establishment of artificial intelligence department at the college.

The university president said that this step represents an addition to the various disciplines in the university and represents a major leap forward in the development of education in the field of information technology to keep abreast of the technological boom in the world, pointing out that the university seeks to have a role in the transformation towards digitization in all educational, research and administrative aspects.
