President of Beni Suef University: 5662 students cast their votes during the first round of elections
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that 5662 students cast their votes during the first round in the elections of student unions to select the secretaries of the committees and their assistants.
The University President pointed out that the number of students applying for student union elections after conducting grievances reached 1247 students from 27 colleges according to the final statements of the student union elections at the university faculties to select the heads of seven committees.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan conducted an inspection tour to follow up the elections at a number of colleges in the east and west of the Nile, in order to be sure of its regularity, stressing that the university is keen to do the elections in a dignified manner and to provide the university youth a unique model in democratic practice and freedom of choice.
