President of Beni Suef University during the eighth conference of the Faculty of Nursing: upgrading the health system in the Province is my top priority
President of Beni Suef University inaugurated the eighth conference of the Faculty of Nursing entitled "Development of Nursing in Integration with Related Science", in the presence of Prof. Dr. / Alaa Abdel Halim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Maabed, Dean of Faculty of Nursing and Dr. Hany Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Science.
In his speech, the university president stressed that upgrading the health system in Beni Suef is his top priority during the coming period, especially the university is unique in having an integrated health system including the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Applied Medical Science. Moreover, most university leaders belong to the medical sector that heralded a golden age of the health system in the province.
The university president called for preparing a training program for sub-interns under a direct supervision of the college to train students in governmental hospitals in the province to achieve self-sufficiency of nursing staff in all governmental hospitals in the province, in addition to activating the list of graduate studies in the faculty.
The Rector called on all parties of the medical system of the university to organize a full-fledged conference comprising all faculties of the medical sector in order to define the nature of the work of each medical profession separately and reach a specific definition for each specialization to avoid interference among the medical professions. Expressing his hope that the conference will come out with many recommendations that help to improve the medical system at the local and national level.
