The closing ceremony of the second employment forum of the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Beni Suef University

The activities of the second employment forum of the Faculty of Earth Sciences concluded this morning at the Beni Suef University Conference Center. The forum was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Abdel-Ghaid, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Safia Mohamed Ali, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Fathi Mohamed Abu Al-Saud, Head of the Department of Water and Environmental Geology at the Faculty, and Dr. Hatem Saad Bakri, Head of the Department of Engineering Geology at the Faculty, the conference rapporteurs.
The conference, which was held at the university’s conference center on the Nile Corniche Road, was attended by university leaders, representatives of companies and sponsors, representatives of companies donating equipment to the Department of Water and Environmental Geology at the college, the General Authority for Mineral Resources, the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation, the Executive Authority for Beni Suef Governorate Projects, and the General Authority for Roads, Bridges and Land Transport.
The forum began with the national anthem, followed by a recitation of ayat from the Holy Quran by one of the college graduates, followed by a speech by Professor Dr. Ibrahim Abdel-Ghaid , Dean of the College, followed by a presentation by Professor Dr. Essam Abdel-Rahman, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, in which he gave a brief presentation on the establishment of the college, its departments, its various programs, and the most important features of its graduates.
For his part, Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed the importance of holding job fairs for graduates in all colleges, to achieve communication between graduates and civil society institutions and companies operating in the field of specialization with the aim of identifying available training and work opportunities. He emphasized that the forum allows students to learn about the required skills of the labor market, so that they can develop and hone their skills to obtain suitable job opportunities after graduation, which allows graduates to communicate with participating companies to learn about the job opportunities available to them.
During his speech, the Dean of the College explained that the main objective of holding the forum is to provide job opportunities for students of the College of Earth Sciences in industrial institutions in various sectors in order to contribute to development, as well as to create a meeting for acquaintance between the graduates of the college who have had job opportunities with the college students to exchange experiences, information and personal experiences about the labor market, and to market and advertise the study programs at the college in order to attract new students. He praised the participation of a large number of bodies, government agencies and public sector companies working in the field of specialization of the college students.
