Awareness seminar on belonging and confronting intellectual extremism at Beni Suef University

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the University's Social Solidarity Unit, in cooperation with the Egyptian Volunteering Bank, organized an awareness seminar entitled "Belonging and Extremism of Thought" at the Faculty of Applied Health Science Technology under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Al-Hussein Muhammad Dahshan, Dean of the College, and Dr. Salah Ahmed Hashem, Advisor of the Ministry of Social Solidarity for Social Policies and General Coordinator of Social Solidarity Units in universities, in the presence of a group of faculty members, employees, and students.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan affirmed the university's keenness to instill the values of loyalty and belonging among students and to combat extremism in all its forms, especially the extremism of thought that leads to the destruction of society and delays its progress from other nations, through awareness seminars and hosting specialists in various fields.
The symposium dealt with the importance of instilling a spirit of belonging and loyalty in the hearts of young people because of its important role in combating extremism and terrorism in all its forms, and the importance of fighting incorrect values and concepts, not yielding to false ideas and news, and urging young people to think carefully in forming the right opinion.
