After the university was included among the top 400 universities in the world, Beni Suef University President receives the International Classification Certificate for Green Universities

The Office of International Classification and Sustainable Development at Beni Suef University presented Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, with the International Classification Certificate for Green Universities, after the university was included among the best 400 universities in the world in the classification of green universities within the silver area, achieving rank 374, and ranked second after the American University at the level the continent of Africa is among the top five sustainable universities.

The university president explained that the Indonesian classification of green universities is based on six main axes, including infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste, water, transportation, education and scientific research, indicating that the classification is one of classifications interested in sustainability in universities by participating in developing an environmentally friendly infrastructure through scientific research and academic curricula, rationalization of water consumption, clean and safe energy, and environmentally friendly means of transportation.
Dr. Sama Al-Daq, Director of International Classification Office, indicated that the classification of green universities aims to motivate universities to adopt policies and implement special programs to preserve the environment, and to ensure the sustainability of efforts to confront the challenges and climate change facing the world.
