President of Beni Suef University: 586 women were examined among 100 million health to detect breast cancer

Dr/Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that 586 women from Beni Suef and neighboring governorates were examined in the presidential initiative 100 million health checks for breast cancer, and to support the health of Egyptian women, by visiting Beni Suef University hospitals and the university’s keenness to participate in the presidential initiatives launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Dr. Mansour stressed that the initiative comes to early detection of breast cancer in implementation of the initiative of the President of the Republic, stressing that early detection contributes to raising the rates of recovery from the disease, as an initial survey is carried out, then confirmatory detection and laboratory tests, and the beginning is with sonar and then the mammogram Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, Executive Director of Beni Suef University Hospitals, explained that the specialized medical center has been equipped for medical detection of breast cancer and to support the health of Egyptian women by conducting laboratory tests for early detection of breast cancer
586 women were examined, chest mammograms were performed, and suspected cases were transferred to the hospital’s surgery department to take pathological tissue samples and analyze them inside the center in the laboratory department, where the latest tissue analysis devices are available at the governorate level
