President of Beni Suef University launches training program for a number of college students to qualify them for labor market

Today, Sunday, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the launch of a training program for a number of students at the faculties of Science, Computers, Information and Artificial Intelligence and Engineering, in cooperation between the Faculty of Science and the University Center for Career Development (UCCD) and Titan Egypt Cement Group, as part of a joint cooperation protocol between Beni Suef University and Titan Company to qualify students for labor market and reduce the gap between university education and the needs of labor market.

This was in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Hanan Suleiman, Member of Senate, Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of University, Dr. Walaa Hozain, Vice Dean of Faculty of Science for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Mr. Tony Othman, Director of Public Relations at Titan Cement Group.

Prof. Dr. Mansour confirmed that there are a number of protocols with civil society institutions in the framework of supporting partnership between the university, to prepare and train students on modern technologies, noting that Titan Cement Group is always working to provide specialized experts to train students during vacations in the fields of industrial security and environment, project management, human resources and personal skills, quality management and ISO certification systems, equipment used in facilities in factories, accounting, sales, marketing and occupational safety in cooperation with the university to qualify them for the labor market.

Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of Faculty of Science, commended the great support provided by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, president of university, to qualify students for labor market and to conclude protocols with many civil society institutions, within the framework of university's special plan to qualify students and young graduates on modern technologies.

Mr. Tony Othman added that training courses are held for students of the Faculty of Science and a number of other faculties so that they acquire a lot of technical and practical skills and experiences, which will greatly help them after graduation to join the labor market, praising the great support between Beni Suef University headed by Prof, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, and Eng. Khaled Badawy, Chairman of Board of Directors of the group, who is interested in permanent communication with Egyptian universities
