Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated today the Shockwave Fragmentation Unit at a cost of 3.5 million pounds, in the presence of Dr. Atef Morsi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beni Suef University Hospitals and Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, Executive Director of Beni Suef University Hospitals
The university president added that the fragmentation unit includes a shock-wave kidney stone fragmentation device, which provides an excellent service for patients, as kidney and ureter stones are broken without surgery or endoscopy, with no need to book the patient in the hospital. The operation is performed and the patient is discharged immediately after the session on the same day. The unit is located on the third floor of the university hospital
Dr. Atef Morsi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, confirmed that Beni Suef University hospitals have witnessed a leap and a qualitative leap in the level of medical services provided to the Suweif community, and the North Upper Egypt region in general, through the opening of new medical clinics equipped with the latest equipment
