Prof. Dr./ Karim Kamal Abdel Ghani, Assistant Professor of Information Systems is a Coordinator for Digital and Technological Transformation and Executive Director of Information at the University
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, issued a decision appointing Prof. Dr. Karim Kamal Abdel Ghani, Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, as the university’s coordinator for digital and technological transformation affairs and as an executive director of information at the university.
It is noteworthy that Prof. Dr. Karim holds a master's degree in computers and information science from Cairo University in 2009 and was appointed as an assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Computers and Information in 2012, then he obtained a doctorate in computer and information science from Cairo University in 2014, and was appointed as a Lecturer at the faculty and was finally promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor, and held several positions at the faculty, including a member of Graduate Studies Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the Distance Learning Center.
He also held the position of Director of university’s e-portal project from 2014 to 2016 and was honored several times by the University Council for achieving advanced positions for the university in international rankings. He also rose to the rank of “Senior Member” from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in the United States of America, and obtained internationally accredited courses and certificates in artificial intelligence, digital transformation and project management from reputable international entities such as Microsoft and IBM.
He received courses for preparing leaders, national security strategies, crisis management and negotiation from the Nasser Higher Military Academy.
