Today, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated the training course for candidacy for the position of dean of a college, institute, which is a requirement of the Supreme Council of Universities, which is held for the first time at Beni Suef University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Khaleq, former Vice President of Beni Suef University and Lecturer in the training course, Prof. Dr. Gamal Abdel Muttalib, Director of the Human Resources Development Center, and 46 working professors, including deans of colleges and institutes.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan congratulated the attendees on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, stressing that the coming period will include raising the efficiency of the administrative staff, students and graduates in accordance with the state’s vision, and that the course that was opened today will be held over 3 days, during which the professor obtains a certificate of completion of the course, which will be a requirement for holding a leadership position within the university, as there is great interest in preparing university leaders, starting with the position of dean of the college and institute, in addition to holding a number of courses to run for the position of vice dean and another for the head of a department.
Beni Suef University President explained that the aim of the courses is to raise the efficiency and development of faculty members in terms of university leadership and management, as the courses contain institutional development in the education and student sectors, strategic planning, legal aspects in universities, crisis and risk management, financial and administrative aspects of universities, national issues and combating Corruption, leadership, supervision and management.
Prof. Dr. Gamal Abdel Muttalib, Director of Human Resources Development Center, thanked Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, for his continuous support to Human Resources Development Center in order to qualify university leaders, stressing that there are directives from the University President to hold courses during the coming period for student leaders from the university union and colleges.
