President of Beni Suef University during the Council of Education and Students Affairs: Forming follow-up committees and implementing precautionary measures

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired today, the Council of Education and Students Affairs, in the presence of the faculties' vice- Deans, Director General of Education and Students Affairs. The university president started the council by directing his congratulations on the occasion of the start of the new academic year, the birth of the noble Prophet, and the remembrance of October victories.
During the council, the university president stressed the need to take all precautionary measures to confront the emerging corona virus, and to form a committee from the vice-Dean of each college for education and students affairs, headed by the Dean of the faculty, to implement those measures, and emphasize the continuous awareness of students, faculty members and staff, and follow-up on them. This is in addition to the committee headed by the Dean of the College of Medicine and under the supervision of Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, to coordinate among all colleges and their vice-Deans, which is concerned with combating infections and following up the implementation of all precautionary measures.
The university president emphasized the necessity of attendance and follow-up of faculty members according to academic schedules. A number of issues related to the academic curricula were also discussed, including that the College of Education teaches the mental health course, and the College of Politics and Economics teaches the Social Economy course to students of the College of Developmental Social Work, and the approval of the start of paper transfers for new students according to the minimum level for the private sector of each college, provided that this is done after the completion of coordination.
