President of Beni Suef University receives a committee of "Higher Education" and "Communications" to transform into smart university, in the presence of University Council

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received today, the committee formed by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Supreme Council of Universities to develop a road map for Beni Suef Smart University. This was in the presence of Prof. Dr. Fatma Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Higab, Coordinator of Divisions and New Programs, and Prof. Dr. Hani Al-Nashar, Director of Projects Unit.
Prof. Dr. Mansour said that the meeting dealt with the discussion of protocol implemented between the Ministry of Higher Education represented by the Supreme Council of Universities and the Information Technology Development and Industry Authority at the Ministry of Communications, in order to conduct a study between the current situation of the university and its vision to transform into a smart university.
The university president affirmed that the committee’s visit includes two goals; the university’s evaluation for the transformation into a smart university, in partnership with the Ministry of Communications, and the evaluation of the Training Center to activate the Certificate of Fundamentals of Digital Transformation for graduate students and faculty members. He pointed out that the university is in the process of preparing an auditorium for 4,500 male and female students to hold exams at the highest level.
The committee praised the advanced level of the university and its effective role in the field of digital transformation and software, noting that their visit to Beni Suef University will last for 3 days in a row during which interviews will be conducted with university leaders and officials, and that the aim of the visit is to know the needs of all universities after inspecting13 universities and listening to the vision of each university and the ability to achieve that vision.
There was a discussion between the delegation members and the Deans of the colleges, in the presence of President of the University during the meeting of University Council, about the university’s plan towards electronic transformation to achieve the university’s vision and its needs by the delegation and to achieve the vision of Egypt 2030.
It is noteworthy that the committee includes Dr. Mohamed Hassan Gadallah, Director of the Council’s Central Training Unit, Dr. Mohamed Khafagy, Director of the Electronic Choices Unit at the Supreme Council of Universities, Eng. Nasser Al-Attar for the Egyptian Universities Network, Eng. Ahmed Auf from the Higher Electronic Services Center for Universities, and Engineer Ayman Mostafa, for the Egyptian Universities Network.
Regarding the Ministry of Communications, it includes Dr. Haitham Hamza, Eng. Ahmed Mohamed Zaki, Eng. Asmaa Hassan Anwar, Quality Consultant at the Information Technology Industry Authority at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
