President of Beni Suef University: Our students eradicated the illiteracy of 2000 people in the governorate

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that university students eradicated the illiteracy of 2000 people inside the governorate through 945 chapters in all the centers and villages of the governorate during the last period, in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education, praising their role in cooperation with the university to serve citizens within the Beni Suef Governorate.
Dr. Mansour pointed out that the Faculties of Arts and Sciences with Special Needs and Education, Early Childhood Education and Social Service, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Adult Education, eradicated the illiteracy of 8 individuals in the village or the residential neighborhood in which they lived during the university years of study.
The President of Beni Suef University indicated that the last university council had approved the proposal submitted by offering a set of bonuses that include money, an exemption from expenses and certificates of experience from the university and the Adult Education Authority for students participating in the project.
He pointed out that workshops and seminars will be held in these colleges to train students in methods of encouraging students and their psychological characteristics and procedures for opening classes with appointing a faculty member in each college to follow up students in order to spread education and eliminate illiteracy, especially in villages and hamlets.
