Beni Suef University Celebrates the Completion of Social Work Field Training in Partnership with Three Care Institutions

In a celebration that reflected the strong collaboration between academic institutions and the community, Beni Suef University, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, marked the conclusion of the field training program for fourth-year students of the Faculty of Social Work, which was conducted at care institutions serving juveniles, older adults, and persons with disabilities.

The program was held under the supervision of:

  • Professor Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

  • Professor Dr. Hendawy Abdallahy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty.

  • Professor Dr. Fadl Mohamed Ahmed, Vice Dean of the Faculty.

The activities were closely monitored by the academic leadership of the Field Training Unit to ensure that students gained the maximum professional benefit from their practical experience within the partner institutions.

During the ceremony, students presented the most significant professional activities and initiatives they had implemented at the Social Defense, Al-Khair Wal Baraka, and Al-Noor Wal Amal institutions. Their presentations demonstrated their ability to translate academic knowledge into practical application, highlighting their readiness to enter the social work profession.

In recognition of the successful partnership, the Faculty honored the field supervisors and administrators from the participating institutions:

  • Juvenile Care Sector: Mr. Wael Lotfy, Director, and Ms. Mona Sayed, Social Specialist.

  • Visual Impairment Sector: Mr. Ahmed Helmy, Director, and Ms. Heba Gaber, Social Specialist.

  • Older Adults Care Sector: Ms. Soheir Halfaya, Director, and Ms. Amani Gamal, Social Specialist.

The participating institutions also honored the students in appreciation of their outstanding performance and meaningful contributions to developing activities within the care centers, making the ceremony a fitting celebration of the strong partnership between Beni Suef University and the social care institutions across Beni Suef Governorate.
