Dean of the Faculty of Medicine participates in the Egyptian-French Forum

In the presence of His Excellency Professor Dr. Tarek Ali – Acting President of Beni Suef University,

The university delegation witnessed the closing of the Egyptian-French Forum for Scientific and University Cooperation, in the presence of Professor Dr. Ayman Ashour – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Eric Chevallier – French Ambassador in Cairo, and a number of presidents of Egyptian universities.
A delegation from Beni Suef University participated in the forum's activities, which included:
Professor Dr. Hani Hamed Desouki – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine
Professor Dr. Shahira El-Menshawy – Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy
Professor Dr. Heba Allah Sobhi – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.
Professor Dr. Iman Kandil – Director of the International Cooperation Office

Professor Dr. Hani Hamed Desouki confirmed that the Faculty of Medicine's participation in this international scientific event comes within the framework of the Faculty and University's keenness to strengthen academic and research partnerships with French universities because these partnerships represent opportunities to exchange experiences and support joint scientific research projects, and open new horizons for faculty members and students to interact with the latest scientific and medical trends.
During the forum, 42 cooperation agreements and 80 joint projects were announced between Egyptian and French universities in multiple fields including medical education, scientific research, and academic exchange, reflecting the depth of the strategic partnership between the two sides and their keenness to develop the higher education system in line with international standards.
This forum is a strategic platform for building bridges of cooperation between Egyptian and French universities, and for advancing academic development in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
