Medical convoy to the village of Qamish

Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, a comprehensive medical development convoy was held today, Thursday, February 13, 2025, for the village of Qamish, Beba Center, in cooperation with the Decent Life Foundation. A team from the Faculty of Dentistry participated with their colleagues from various university faculties

The Faculty of Dentistry participated under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Fathallah Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Ziada, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, through the Faculty’s Medical Convoys Committee, headed by Dr. Sherine Shaaban, Lecturer in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Head of the Convoys Committee, and with the active participation of a team of resident doctors and interns Patients were examined, initial diagnoses were made, and cases were referred to various departments within the college's clinics. Awareness of oral and dental health care was also raised. It is worth noting that more than 115 cases of various ages were examined, necessary medications were prescribed, and cases requiring therapeutic intervention were referred to various college clinics for follow-up. In addition, some awareness activities were held to promote oral health care for children
