13th call for applications for the Tahtawi Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year

The French Embassy in Egypt is pleased to announce the opening of the 13th call for applications for the Tahtawi Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year, open until February 15, 2025 (11:30 PM Cairo time).

As a reminder, this scholarship is intended for Egyptian students, French-speaking or English-speaking, to pursue their Master’s 2 studies in France.

It provides a monthly allowance of €860 for 10 months.

Recipients may also benefit from one or more of the following services:

Waiver of visa-related fees;

Exemption from registration fees at public institutions under the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, as well as from the CVEC;

Assistance in reserving a spot in a university residence.
