Under the  patronage of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, Prof. Dr. Tariq Ali, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Farghali, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Mai Raslan, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and in continuation of the series of distinguished seminars organized by the Faculty with world-renowned Egyptian scientists, the Faculty completes these seminars with the third seminar, in which the Egyptian scientist Dr. Maher Al-Qadi lectures

It is worth noting that Dr. Maher Al-Qadi is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Maher Al-Qadi was able to discover a way to make “supercapacitors” and batteries that can be charged in seconds and last for long periods. Al-Qadi succeeded in this scientific discovery while working at the university to invent a practical method for extracting graphene
