Today,Prof. Dr. Ahmed Farghaly, Dean of the College, Prof. Samaa Al-Daq, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies, and Prof. Mai Raslan, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development, received Dr. Elham Fadali, the Egyptian physicist, who won the Best Research Award in Applied Physics for the year. 2020 at the global level from the World of Physics magazine, which gave a symposium entitled Bridging Worlds: My Journey from Upper Egypt to Silicon Valley and Beyond in Optoelectronic 
which  was attended by a number of the college’s faculty members and students from various specializations. This symposium comes within the framework of the college’s keenness to hold a number of different and diverse seminars that aim to maximize the benefit from the experiences of a number of scientifically and culturally influential figures at the local and global levels
