The 5th edition of the student fair “Choisissez la France- Choose France”

The Embassy of France in Egypt has the pleasure to invite you to the 5th edition of the student fair “Choisissez la France- Choose France” that will be held at the French Institute of Egypt in Cairo – Mounira site On Thursday October 19th and Friday October 20th, 2023.
For four years, our event has known immense success with the Egyptian public, welcoming more than 1,500 visitors each year: from high school students to university students and teaching staff representing the Egyptian universities.
This fair allows the students to get all the necessary information about French higher education studies by meeting more than twenty French higher education establishments. The study programs presented are in various fields: computer sciences, applied arts, engineering, management & business, and many more. French language is not mandatory to study in France. Today in France, more than 1600 programs are fully taught in English.
The event will be organized as follow:
Thursday October 19th (9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
Welcoming as a priority the high school students in the company of head teachers and orientation counselors. Several live sessions will be streaming on studying and living in France, how to prepare your CV and motivation letter.
Thursday October 19th (3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
Institutional meetings: It will be dedicated to representatives of Egyptian universities and ministries: the goal is to allow meetings between French and Egyptian institutions to stimulate the establishment of long-term partnerships.
Friday October 20th (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
Welcoming all participants: students, parents, teachers, professors…. etc. Like the first day, live sessions will be streaming on studying and living in France, how to prepare your CV and motivation letter.
Your participation on the institutional meetings is very essential to us, we kindly invite you to represent your institution and come to meet our French representatives. Please confirm your interest as soon as possible as the number of attendees for this day is very limited to ensure the best quality exchange.
