President of Beni Suef University: We seek to make the university a center for serving people with special needs at Republic's level

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, said today that the university aims to become an integrated center for serving people with special needs at the Republic's level . This was during the inauguration of the celebration activities of the College of  Special Needs Science with the International Day of Autism, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Heba Abu El-Nil, Dean of the College and a group of faculty members and students, in light of the implementation of all precautionary measures.

Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that the university has all the capabilities that qualify it to be an integrated center for serving people with special needs, whether with regard to the academic research aspect represented by the Faculty of Special Needs Science, which has many distinguished scientific cadres, or the service side represented by the Center for Rehabilitation of Children with Special Needs. In addition, there is a Disability Challengers Unit and workshops for the manufacture of prosthetic limbs.

On the sidelines of the celebration, Prof. Dr. Mansour opened an exhibition of modern teaching aids for children with autism disorders, and listened to a detailed explanation of how children with autism were treated.
