The Graduate Studies Department started operating at the college from 2006-2007 to grant the degrees of (Masters - Doctorate). Students may be registered for the Masters degree from among those who obtained a grade of (Acceptable) in the Bachelor's degree, provided that they obtain one of the diplomas in the specialty.

Applications for admission begin in October of each year. The student must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a grade of (Good) at least from one of the universities of the Arab Republic of Egypt or an equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the university.

The student is required to obtain a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences

A- Successfully pass the exam in the academic courses

B- Conduct research for a period of not less than one and a half calendar years from the date of registration in a topic approved by the university based on the proposal of the Department Council and the approval of the Graduate Studies and Research Committee and the College Council.

C- After successfully completing the academic courses, he must submit the results of his research in a thesis accepted by the Judging Committee and discuss it publicly.

The examination in the academic courses is held twice a year in November and April. The student's examination is in the courses in which he failed. The College Council, based on the proposal of the relevant department councils and the approval of the Graduate Studies and Research Committee, may deprive the student from taking the examination if his attendance rate is less than (75%). In the event that the student is deprived, he must repeat the course in which he was absent, both study and examination.

The research topic may not be registered before six months have passed from the date of the student's registration in the college based on the supervisor's recommendation. If the student does not register the research topic within a maximum period of two years from the date of the College Council's approval, his registration will be cancelled after taking the opinion of the relevant department council.

The student's success is estimated by one of the following ratings:
Excellent from 85% or more of the total score
Very good from 75% to less than 85% of the total score
Good from 65% to less than 75% of the total score
Acceptable from 60% to less than 65% of the total score

As for the student's failure, it is estimated by one of the following two ratings:
Weak from 30% to less than 60% of the total score
Very weak less than 30% of the total score
