Study program


A- The duration of study to obtain the degree of Doctor of Pharmacy is two academic years, during which the student devotes himself to his theoretical, practical, and training studies, and the number of credit hours allocated for the program is no less than 72 hours.
:B- The program includes study for two years as follow
1- The first year: The student studies specialized courses at a rate of 36 credit hours from the code (1900) determined by the College Council based on the proposal of the Clinical Pharmacy Department Council, over two semesters.
2- The second year: The student passes 6 practical and clinical training courses, including two compulsory courses and four elective courses, which are estimated at 36 hours, with 6 training hours per week for each course for a period of eight weeks.
C- The academic supervisor determined by the Clinical Pharmacy Department Council supervises the students during theoretical study and the period of practical and clinical training.
D- At the end of each training stage, the student presents a medical case before one of the academic supervisors.
E- The minimum period for granting the degree of Doctor of Pharmacy is two Gregorian years, and the maximum is three Gregorian years from the date of registration {approval of the College Council}, taking into account cases of suspension of registration.
