Unit's objectives
Objectives of the Unit:
- Increasing the effectiveness of university projects.
- Providing excellent services in information technology to the faculties.
- Improving the efficiency and improvement of the internal information network atr the college.
- Raising the efficiency of the infrastructure and modernizing it.
- Work on the development of the educational process by strengthening the interaction between students and faculty members.
- Using the official e-mail of the university in all administrative transactions as well as in communication with students.
- Using the official website of the College to communicate with all concerned parties.
- Using electronic transactions instead of paper transactions.
- Increasing the efficiency of using the digital library.
- Operation and maintenance of the information network.
- Follow up the technical use of the network and providing technical support to all users.
- Studying deficiencies and analyzing faults and problems and developing appropriate solutions for computer systems.
- Updating software .
- Developing public policies to train faculty members, assistants and staff on ICT skills to improve performance in the educational, research and administrative process.
- promoting awareness of the culture of "IT training for all " to ensure continuous development.
- Rehabilitation and development of the information and communication network infrastructure at the College.
- Developing integrated applications of management information systems and providing higher education services in an electronic form to all beneficiaries.
- Providing information and a number of electronic services to faculty members and students through the College's electronic portal
- Applying modern learning styles such as e-learning technology.
- Providing sources of electronic information from books, references and periodicals and making them available through information networks.
- Contributing in raising the efficiency of the faculty members and their assistants using modern technology and information systems.
- Converting courses to the electronic ones.
- Automating the work of university libraries.
- Preparation of students to use information technology in education and giving them computer skills.
- Providing all information related to students, postgraduate students and faculty through educational means.
- Contributing to the quality of the faculty.
- Cooperation with IT units in other faculties and the university headquarters.
- Contributing to updating the College's website.
